IIFT Mohali ,Annual Fashion Show, LAKHSYA-2012
Chandigarh- Dated-18/05/2012 International Institute of Fashion Technology -IIFT , Mohali , Industrial Area , Phase 7, Mohali Presents “Lakshya 2012” the institute Annual fashion show in DLF city centre , IT park , Chandigarh . The chief guest for the show was Bhai Sukhdeep singh sidhu OSD to chief minister , Punjab. The guest of honor was Mr. Ratnadeeplal chairman IIFT group.

The students of MBA, Fashion Designing , AMM and GMT, course showcased their creativity by designing awesome collection for their Fashion Show, “LAKSHYA-2012”.

Giving details of the show Mr Kawaljeet Singh , director of IIFT-Mohali said that students were given a choice of themes to design their collection like Bohemian tamasha , untamed scandal , geometric twist , negra elegante , the vogue , beneath the sea , clash of textures and vanity flows . Students used fabrics like cotton, crepe, satin, crinkly georgette and silk nets keeping in mind the fashion forecast and colors. Surface ornamentation is given with embroidery in semi precious stones, sequins, shimmer embellishments, embroideries and ruffles, handmade buttons etc. A total number of 60 dresses were displayed on International fashion week model , super model and fashion week models like , Anna, Dilyana, Dorris ,Dorothy ,Ksieyana , Shipra malik and many more. The show was choreographed by Kaushik Ghosh.
